Mandatory procedure
Anmeldung must be completed within 14 days of your installation.
Required documents:
- Passport or ID card
- Anmeldung form (downloadable)
- Landlord confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung)
Go to the Bürgeramt or Einwohnermeldeamt in your district. Some cities allow online appointment booking.
